and professional goals by creating a customized PlaceProfile for you. To make
the PlaceProfile more useful, we will provide you with specific information
about the optimal design for a specific room in your home.
After learning
more about you and spaces you use, PlaceCoach® will answer questions such
as:
How do you respond to spaces
you're in? Which features are most salient to you?
How should a space be tailored
to your personality and sensory profile?
How can the experience of
being in the space in your home that we'll analyze be optimized?
What colors, scents,
textures, sounds, etc., should be present in the specific room in your home that
we'll analyze? What should the sensory inputs be in that space to achieve your
desired objectives?
How can the space be designed
so that it can satisfy the same (or different) users doing different things (or at different times)?
How will different people
(older/younger, from different cultures, etc.) respond to the space?
How can the space be designed
to communicate the same messages across personal differences?
To begin the
process of applying Sensory Science in your home, complete the contact
information section below and send us digital photographs of the space that you
would like us to analyze. The pictures must show all of the walls in a space,
and give us a feel for the space overall. Normally it takes 6 to 7 photos
of a room to accomplish these objectives. We can also discuss applying Sensory Science in new construction - contact us directly at information@placecoach.com to begin this sort of project.
Within 24 hours of receiving your
photos, we will contact you by e-mail to learn more
about you, your personality, and how you will use the spaces being
analyzed.
Within the following 72 hours we'll provide you with your
PlaceProfile so you can create spaces that reflect your unique space
needs.
PlaceCoach® analyzes information about you and your space to
prepare:
Your PlaceProfile - a
detailed report about how you interact with the spaces around you, and how their
design can guide you toward your goals. Your PlaceProfile covers topics such as
your dominant sense, optimal furniture styles, and how your personality
influences how you experience a place.
Room specific details - a
content rich description of the psychologically important physical elements of a
room you would like us to analyze, such as:
Colors and textures to use in
the space
Furniture styles and
arrangements
Scents
Soundscapes
Lighting suggestions
Personalizing
accessories
Our fees are $250 for the first room that we analyze, and $150 for each
additional room.
